Word has reached me that Greene County Recreation & Parks are going to be seal coating the Creekside Trail starting tomorrow, 10 October 2007. They are going to start at the Greene County line about 300 yards West of the I-675 bridge. The work will proceed East until it reaches Xenia Station. The seal coating will take two to three days to complete depending on the weather. During that time, portions of the trail will be closed for 1 to 2 hours for the coating to dry. While the coating is still wet it is extremely slippery so use extra caution if you are in the area during the seal coating operation. When the bridges are coated they will be impassible until the coating dries.
 
I will be adding this information to my October Newsletter, but it will be as a matter of record since the work should be completed before my newsletter is sent to you.
