The State of Ohio Capital Budget has been passed by the Ohio Senate.
In this budget, $400,000 has been allocated to Madison County
for completion of the Prairie Grass Trail from Maple Street to Wilson Road.

In addition, in October of 2006 the Ohio Department of Natural Resources
awarded $210,000 to Madison County from the Clean Ohio Trails Fund Grant,
also to be used for
completion of the Prairie Grass Trail.

The combination of these funds allows the County Park District and the
City of London to select a project manager to prepare the project for bid.
It is expected that paving of the trail will be completed in 2007.
