Springfield Township is having a high pressure sewer line put in next to the Little Miami Scenic Trail between US 70 and Beatty Station for their new Township offices across the road from the old firehouse. The trail should not be damaged but the equipment presence will not allow folks to use the trail for safety issues. They are planning to start next Monday October 30 and work through Wednesday November 1, 2006. If you can put a notice to trail users that the section north of Beatty will be closed due to construction for those three days it might help folks plan. If they are using the LMST north of Beatty, they will have to use the surface street for an additional mile.
